Sawbuck Software products are fully browser-based SaaS services. By enrolling, you enter into the agreements described below. Please read each section carefully, then check every acknowledgment box before proceeding.

§1 — Documents in Effect

Two documents govern your relationship with Sawbuck Software:

Terms of Service (ToS) — the binding contract between you and Sawbuck Software covering account conduct rules, subscription billing terms, intellectual property ownership, limitations of liability, termination rights, and governing law.
Privacy Policy — required by law in many jurisdictions (GDPR, CCPA, and others). Describes exactly what personal and business data we collect, why we collect it, how long we retain it, which third-party sub-processors may handle it on our behalf, and your rights as a data subject.

No separate End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to this service — GreatPlainsTransit is delivered as a dispatcher web app and browser-installed driver PWA with nothing to download from an app store or install as a native executable. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available upon written request for B2B customers subject to GDPR Art. 28.

Optional add-ons as you scale: Cookie Policy; DPA for B2B customers where Sawbuck processes your end-users’ data.

§2 — What GreatPlainsTransit Is

GreatPlainsTransit is a last-mile proof-of-delivery and logistics platform operated by Sawbuck Software. It includes two frontends deployed from one codebase: a dispatcher web app for route planning, manifest building, and POD monitoring; and a driver Progressive Web App (PWA) for field delivery confirmation, signature capture, and offline operation. All logistics data is isolated per organization.

§3 — Consent Standard (Clickwrap)

Sawbuck Software uses clickwrap consent — your explicit, affirmative action — rather than passive footer-link “browsewrap.” This is the legally recognized standard under U.S. case law (Meyer v. Uber; Long v. Proflowers) and satisfies GDPR’s requirement that consent be “freely given, specific, informed, and unambiguous.”

Your acceptance is recorded with a timestamp, your IP address, and the exact version of each document you accepted. If Sawbuck Software materially updates the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, you will be prompted to review and re-accept before your next login. Pre-checked boxes are never used — each checkbox below requires your deliberate action.

§4 — Driver PWA and Device Permissions

The driver app is a Progressive Web App installed via the browser's "Add to Home Screen" function — it is not distributed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. The driver app requires camera permission (barcode / QR scanning) and geolocation permission (GPS stamp at delivery confirmation). These permissions are requested by the device browser and can be revoked by the driver at any time from device settings.

§7 — Your Acknowledgments (all required to proceed)

I understand and agree to the subscription billing model: my payment method on file will be charged the applicable monthly base subscription fee plus any sync charges on a recurring monthly basis until I cancel. I may cancel at any time from within my account settings. I understand that sync charges are metered fees that apply only to actions that write or update my records in Sawbuck Software’s servers for GreatPlainsTransit — for example: posting proof-of-delivery confirmations, closing manifests, syncing route status updates, saving dispatch changes, or relaying ERP callbacks. Read-only access, status board viewing, reporting, and navigation are never charged as sync events. I understand that if Sawbuck Software materially updates the Terms of Service or Privacy Policy, I will be required to review and re-accept the updated documents before continuing to use the service. Continued use after a material update, once prompted, constitutes acceptance of that update. I acknowledge that no End User License Agreement (EULA) applies to this service. GreatPlainsTransit is delivered through a dispatcher web app and browser-installed driver PWA, and requires no app-store download, native installation, or executable on my device. I understand that the driver app is a PWA installed via browser — not an App Store or Play Store app — and that it requires camera and geolocation permissions on each driver device for barcode scanning and GPS confirmation. I acknowledge this enrollment creates a live production account. For evaluation purposes, demos are available at demo.greatplains.sawbuck-software.com (dispatcher) and demo.greatplains-pwa.sawbuck-software.com (driver).

Dispatcher & Admin Access

Add the email addresses and initial passwords for any additional dispatchers or admins. Driver accounts are provisioned separately within the app after setup — only add dispatcher-level users here.
