Offline POS

The register keeps selling even when the internet drops — transactions queue locally and sync automatically the moment the connection is restored.

Set staff access levels so cashiers, managers, and admins each see only what they need — with supervisor override tools built into the register workflow.

Audit Log

Every change is recorded — who made it, when, and what changed. Full accountability for inventory edits, voids, price changes, and settlement adjustments without the paperwork.

How We Stack Up

Scores reflect common buyer-facing positioning (not an exhaustive RFP matrix). Yes = clearly advertised or widely accepted strength; Partial = varies by edition, add-on, or configuration; No = not a marketed advantage; Unclear = insufficient public detail.

Sawbuck pricing — predictable total cost

Keystone Consignment follows the Sawbuck rule: $10.00 per mall per month base subscription, plus $0.01 per data update (sync charge). No per-seat software tax, no surprise tier jumps — your bill scales with how much you actually write to the system.

$10.00 / month + $0.01 / update

Billed monthly through Sawbuck Commander. Base covers the mall subscription; sync charges are metered in arrears from the prior calendar month and shown as a separate line on your statement.

What you pay for
Base subscription — one mall, unlimited staff logins, POS, reporting, floor designer, loyalty, and dealer settlement tools. $10.00 / month
Sync charges (metered)

Each successful create, update, or delete that saves business data to Sawbuck servers counts as one update at $0.01. Examples: posting a POS invoice, saving an inventory item, recording a dealer payout, closing a settlement period, enrolling a loyalty member, or a dealer API write from DustyMillerMerchant. Failed requests are not charged.

$0.01 / update

Counts as an update (billed)

  • POS invoice, layaway, refund, or void that commits
  • Inventory, dealer, customer, or booth record saves
  • Settlement close, dealer payout, rent charge, or commission change
  • Loyalty earn/redeem commits and configuration saves
  • Dealer API POST/PATCH/DELETE that succeeds

Never sync-charged

  • Login, navigation, and dashboard viewing
  • Running or exporting reports (read-only)
  • Searching inventory, dealers, or customers
  • Previewing settlements, quotes, or tax before save
  • Demo mode exploration without persisting writes
Example monthly totals (illustrative)

Use these scenarios to estimate total cost of ownership. Your actual sync count appears on each billing statement; busy seasons may run higher, quiet months lower.

Mall profile Typical monthly updates Sync Base Est. total
Small shop — one register, light inventory churn ~500 updates $5.00 $10.00 $15.00
Mid-size antique mall — steady POS + dealer maintenance ~2,500 updates $25.00 $10.00 $35.00
High-traffic mall — multiple registers, active dealer API ~8,000 updates $80.00 $10.00 $90.00
Seasonal peak month — holiday sales surge (illustrative) ~15,000 updates $150.00 $10.00 $160.00

Formula: monthly total ≈ $10.00 + (update count × $0.01). Card processing fees for subscription billing, if any, are passed through at cost and listed separately. Compare to category leaders that often publish $100–$350+/month before add-ons — Keystone stays in sawbuck territory even at busy malls.
